That it was a Monday night did not stop the sellout crowd from well-mannered monkeyshines and responsible sybaritism, much to the relief of the night’s hosts. Will’s voice and songs filled up the white dove colored McCormick Mansion living room like smooth campfire smoke, and when comrade Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers joined in for a few numbers, tequila in hand, an already splendid evening turned nonpareil.
